Terms of Use
Last updated: October 6, 2026
These Terms of Use apply to your use of Kitchen Organization (“the site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
What the site provides
The site publishes free guides about organizing a home kitchen. They are general information only. The site is not written by professional organizers, kitchen designers, contractors, electricians or food-safety specialists, and it is not professional advice of any kind. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who can see your kitchen. We work to keep the guides clear and accurate, but we do not promise that every guide is free of errors.
General-information disclaimer
Kitchens differ. Whether a method works depends on the size and layout of the kitchen, on its cabinets and drawers, on what you own and on how you cook. The guides describe general approaches and things to check; they cannot take your particular kitchen into account. Sizes, clearances and times are starting points, not rules. We do not guarantee that any method will suit your kitchen or that any organizer will fit it. Measure before you buy.
Shelves, racks, rails and hooks. Whether a shelf, a rack, a rail, a hook, an adhesive strip, a cabinet door or a wall can carry a load depends on the product and on the surface it is fixed to. The site states no weight limits. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and stated limits, use fixings suited to the surface, check any rules that apply to a rented home before drilling, and ask a qualified professional about any wall fixing you are unsure about.
Appliances, wiring and plumbing. Use, place and store appliances only as the manufacturer instructs. The site does not describe modifying appliances or cabinets, or working on household wiring, gas or plumbing. Anything involving the wiring or the plumbing of your home is a job for a qualified professional.
Cleaning products. Any cleaning product must be used and stored according to its own label. The label takes precedence over anything on this site. The site gives no mixing or dilution instructions. Keeping such products out of the reach of children and pets is your responsibility; the guides describe common ways to do it, without promising that they are enough in your home.
No food-safety advice. The site makes no statement about how long food keeps, how it should be stored to stay safe to eat, or which containers are suitable for food. The fact that a guide mentions where food is kept tells you nothing about food safety. Follow the packaging and an authoritative food-safety source.
DIY projects and cutting tools. Some projects involve scissors, a utility knife, a saw or similar tools. They are meant to be carried out by adults, who use those tools at their own risk and as the tool manufacturer instructs. Keep tools and cut pieces away from children.
You use the information on the site at your own risk.
